Passwords, hashes and the random values everything else is built on.
PathDish Tools is a set of single-purpose utilities for the small jobs that show up during real work — a password to generate, a photo to shrink, a colour to check, a file to compare. Open a tool, use it, close the tab. Everything runs in your browser, so nothing you paste or drop here is ever uploaded anywhere.
Generated on this page, in your browser
Each tool lives on the shelf it belongs to and does exactly one job. Find yours below — or press CtrlK anywhere on the site and search.
Passwords, hashes and the random values everything else is built on.
Shrink, resize, convert and prepare pictures for the web.
Pick, check and build colours that hold up in a real design.
Turn one structured format into another without losing anything.
Count, convert and compare words before anyone else reads them.
Five tools do most of the work on this site, so here they are opened up: what each one actually does, what its output looks like, and where its settings matter. The other fifteen are listed at the end.
Builds passwords from your browser's own random number generator, drawing each character without the bias that creeps into simpler shuffle-and-pick code. Set the length, choose which character families are in the mix, and the strength readout updates with an honest entropy figure and a plain-language verdict.
Re-encodes a photo at a quality level you control and shows you the new file size before you commit to anything. Your image is drawn to a canvas on your own device — it is never uploaded, so there is nothing to wait for and nothing to trust us with.
One colour, shown every way you might need it. Pick or type a shade and read it back instantly as HEX, RGB, HSL and OKLCH, with a copy button beside each format so the value that lands in your stylesheet is the one you meant.
Paste in a tangle of JSON and get it back readable: consistent indentation, keys optionally sorted, and — when something is genuinely wrong — an error that points at the exact line and column instead of just declaring the file invalid.
Two versions of a text go in; a readable list of exactly what changed comes out. Lines are compared first, then the words inside changed lines are highlighted, and you can ask it to ignore whitespace or letter case when those differences do not matter to you.
The remaining fifteen tools follow the same rule as the five above: one page, one job, nothing uploaded. They are grouped on the shelves further down this page, or open any of them from here:
No dashboard, no project to set up and nothing to dismiss first. The tool is the page.
Results appear as you type, slide and pick. There is no server round-trip to wait for, because there is no server involved at all.
Files are read locally and text is processed in the page. Close the tab and everything you did here is gone with it.
No. There is no server component to PathDish Tools. Images are processed with the browser's Canvas API and passwords are generated with crypto.getRandomValues() on your own machine. Open your browser's Network tab while using any tool and you will see that nothing is sent.
Once a page has loaded, yes — every tool is self-contained HTML, CSS and JavaScript with no external fonts or API calls.
Only your device's memory. Phone photos and full-page screenshots are comfortable; extremely large files are limited by your browser rather than by us.
Yes. Output carries no watermark and we claim no licence over anything you produce here.
A history would need an account and a database — two things this site is deliberately built without. Bookmark a tool page if you want to come back to it.
Nothing to sign up for, nothing to install, no watermark on the way out.
